This Victorian town is no stranger to ghostly apparitions and haunted tales. Join the town of Bramwell as they celebrate the legendary ghosts that lived during Victorian times. The haunted tour is spooky; fact and fiction mingle together, all set in a picturesque southern West Virginia coal town. The walking tour is suitable for children. All are encouraged to dress in costume and participate in a costume contest.
The walk begins at dusk, but visitors are welcome to arrive at 5 p.m., for music and treats. Cost is $10 in advance and $15 at the door. All proceeds benefit the Children’s Home Society. Tickets are available at the town of Bramwell (Town Hall & the Train Depot), New People’s Bank in Princeton and Bluefield, Va., the Chamber of Commerce of the Two Virginias, the Princeton Public Library and the Craft Memorial Public Library, and the Children’s Home Society Office in Princeton.
