About the Mercer County CVB

The Mercer County Convention and Visitors Bureau is a non-profit destination marketing organization in Mercer County, West Virginia. Through digital and print marketing and social media, the Mercer County CVB promotes Mercer County and the municipalities of Athens, Bluefield, Bramwell and Princeton. The CVB is the official tourism marketing organization for the county and is funded by the six percent lodging tax paid by visitors to Mercer County, West Virginia. The Mercer County CVB is located at 619 Bland Street, Bluefield, WV, 24701 or 215 South Walker Street, Princeton, WV 24740 and is open Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Mercer County Convention and Visitors Bureau creates economic growth promoting the county as a destination.

Visit Mercer County Bags – These bags will include visitor information and selected Visit Mercer County items. To receive these bags for any special event, requests must be submitted at least one month prior to event date.

Information Booth – During an event, an information booth can be set up with a Visit Mercer County CVB staff member to answer any questions attendees may have about the area. ( Weekends are subject to staff availability.)

County Tour Guide – A tour guide can be assigned for use on any official tours planned through the Visit Mercer County CVB.

Visit Mercer County Packets – Per request, Visit Mercer County visitor packets including brochures, maps and more can be sent to attendees prior to a convention or business event.

Area Photos – The CVB can provide photos of the Mercer County area, taken by our professional photographers, to be used in event publications and promotional items. Credit must be given to the CVB.

Online Event Calendar – If an event is open to the public, it can be placed on the Mercer County CVB event calendar at no charge. Click here to submit an event.

Business Listings – All tourism-based businesses receive a free business listing on the CVB website.
