Since 1972, the Pipestem Drive-Inn has lit up five acres with double features and the sweet smell of popcorn wafting in the breeze. It has space for 285 cars, but folks still drag out lawn chairs like it’s a backyard gathering. When the screen flickers to life, the night settles in as the stars and stories wash over you.
