- Brush Creek Preserve – Take the short quarter-mile hike from the parking area to one of Mercer County’s most accessible waterfalls, Brush Creek Falls. Depending on water levels, you may even be able to walk behind parts of the falls!

For a more relaxed pace, drive to the top of East River Mountain for an amazing glimpse of the mountaintop landscape and sweeping fall colors. Stop at the overlook and snap a picture on the Almost Heaven swing!

Take in the colors from above on Pipestem Resort State Park’s aerial tramway! The six-minute ride descends 1,200 feet down the mountain, offering a unique perspective of the Bluestone River Gorge and the surrounding autumn landscape.
