Another highlight at Camp Creek is the White Oak Road and Trail, a 1.4-mile crushed gravel route surrounded by native rhododendrons. This trail starts 1.2 miles upstream on Turkey Loop Road and Trail and provides easy access to the park’s natural beauty.

Pipestem Resort State Park provides a picturesque accessible route with the Long Branch Trail. This short and paved path winds through wildlife-rich areas and offers stunning views of Long Branch Lake. Additionally, the new aerial tram is ADA accessbile and can accommodate visitors of all abilities. The larger design creates east of boarding and seating. The tram allows for all visitors to experience a six-minute ride down to the Bluestone Gorge.

For breathtaking vistas of Mercer County, visit the East River Mountain Overlook. Situated 3,500 feet above sea level, this accessible viewpoint offers panoramic views of Bluefield and its surrounding landscapes. The overlook has flat sidewalks and ramps. Play At The Ridge Runner Fun Zone

In addition to Bluefield City Park converting some of its old tennis courts into eight new pickleball courts, the park has unveiled the Ridge Runner Fun Zone playground. This inclusive playground features accessible equipment such as ramps, surfacing turf and independent play structures. This initiative ensures that all children can enjoy outdoor playtime in a welcoming environment.
