Camp Creek Fall Festival – September 17

It’s always a good day to spend at a West Virginia State Park, especially in the autumn months! Head to Camp Creek State Park’s Fall Festival for a wonderful afternoon, featuring live music, a craft show, flea market, apple butter-making and wagon rides to the park’s two waterfalls.

Cool Cruisin Nights – September 17 and October 15

Hundreds of classic, muscle and custom cars will line Mercer Street during the Cool Cruisin’ Night. This free event encourages visitors and locals to bring chairs and enjoy a relaxing fall evening in Princeton with music and food. Against the downtown backdrop of artist murals and historic buildings, it’s a great view, especially when the sun goes down.

AutumnFest – September 24

Mercer Street gets extra colorful for fall. Adding to the beautiful murals is the Princeton AutumnFest – a swirl of striped vendor booths, painted pumpkins and entertainers. This kid-friendly festival includes crafts, games and — best of all — steaming vats of apple butter.

Oktoberfest in the Park – September 24

Can’t make it to Bavaria? Lotito City Park’s annual event comes pretty close to the original Oktoberfest! All of your favorites will be there – craft beer and cider, German-inspired fare and live music. Purchase your tickets for Oktoberfest in the Park now. 

Ridin’ 4 A Cure – October 8

Kick up some dust on the Hatfield-McCoy Trail System for a great cause! Register for the annual Ridin’ 4 A Cure event to fundraise for breast cancer.

Calling all ghost hunters! Lake Shawnee’s Dark Carnival is back. Explore a haunted house and meet a few creepy characters along the way! Eerie and theatrical, this event is perfect for Halloween.

Mercer Monster Mash

Bring Mercer Street back from the grave at the Mercer Monster Mash! This Halloween extravaganza includes Trick or Treating on Mercer Street, a costume contest, live pumpkin carving and more.
