Try the best burger & brew in southern West Virginia in our neck of the woods! Taste your way through Mercer County on our culinary crawl.

Our breakfast spots are local gems: in Bluefield, The Corner Coffee and Espresso Bistro serves up coffee, lattes and hot chocolate for quick bursts of caffeine. Sister’s Coffee House in Princeton has coffee, muffins and more in a comfy and cozy atmosphere that makes you want sit down and relax. Take a break and let the Gwen butter your wild blueberry muffin before you hit the road.

Lunch is our favorite hobby.  The Big Whiskey BBQ has a full menu of meat and sides. Then choose your own sauce. A few miles down the road, Lynn’s Drive-In will fix you up with nostalgic fries, burgers, milkshakes and of course, corndogs.  Lynn’s is the only drive-in left in the county.

Want good pub food and music for dinner? The Railyard in Bluefield has live music, trivia nights and more Wednesday through Saturday. We recommend the Chicken and Waffles Nacho, the grilled pimento cheese sandwich and their best-of-show burgers and homemade fries! Pair your meal with a craft brew or cocktail.

Craving Italian? Portabella’s in Bluefield is another great option for dinner, with everything from salad to pizza (with a great kid’s menu, too.)

Out near the Hatfield-McCoy ATV trails, one ATV resort is taking pizza to the next level. Usually known for their buffalo burgers, Buffalo Trail creates a special pizza each week. You might even in the middle of pizza war between two of the chefs.
