Who says craft beer is just for the guys? The Railyard in Bluefield has an awesome wine and beer list. We suggest heading out on a Wednesday for trivia night to test your smarts about pop culture, history and everything in between.

Chuck Mathena Center – Take in a show on the big stage at the Chuck Mathena Center in Princeton. From ballet to funky upbeat modern music, there is a wide range of shows throughout the year. Grab dinner first at your favorite restaurant. P.S. Fame is the next show to take the stage.

ATVs – Who says girls don’t like mud? The Hatfield McCoy Trails are not just for the boys anymore. Ladies are always welcome on the Pocahontas Trail, located in Bramwell. If you are planning a trip, Trails Heaven ATV resort has a heated outdoor pool!

Desserts – Your mission is to find the best dessert. We recommend starting out with ice cream, banana splits and chocolate milkshakes at The Corner Shop in Bramwell.

Fall festivals – The biggest fall festival, AutumnFest, will be on Sept. 24 in downtown Princeton. Grab your friends and hit the streets for apple butter, pumpkins, crafts and more. What a perfect day to say goodbye to summer and hello to a new season!
